THE DEATHS ON THE BRIDGE
By Parker
This is a picture of the marchers on bloody Sunday just coming over the bridge as the soldiers wait for them.
I drew this because of how much pain people endured on Bloody Sunday. I made the hands round to show that people were clenching their fists. I also put billy clubs in the soldiers' hands because that is what they beat marchers with. Through the bridge, I drew a concrete block to show the purpose of the bridge is for cars and that there were no cars crossing that day. I drew the name of the bridge because the bridge is a historical site.
