SELMA
While we were in Selma, we met up with Mrs. Louretta Wimberly and she introduced us to all the major churches in Selma. While visiting the churches, we were introduced to people who told us their stories and the stories of others from the National Voting Rights movement in Selma. We also walked over the Edmund Pettus Bridge and visited the museum on the other side. On our last days in Selma, we had the honor of meeting and speaking with Bruce and Betty Boynton. They told us their stories from their time in the Civil Rights movement.
